We here at Mills Crafts have been manufacturering Pinewood Derby Kits since 1997. Our pre-cut racers are made with both the novice and expert in mind. We offer a great selection of designs to choose from. We pay special attention to axle slot alignment for the fastest racer possible. We developed the first axle slot with axle insert cavity for ease of axle installation. We offer car kits with with weight cavities and weight sets to save time and money.

Why buy a custom fishing rod? You get to choose all your componants and colors. We start with a rod blank thats appropriate for the type of fish and bait being used. The line guides are placed to reduce stress on the rod and the line. This is done in alignment with the rod spline for maximum performance and reduce the chance of breaking when you land that personal best fish! You get to choose your handle type. when you are out all day casting and reeling you not only want comfort but good leverage if you hook up with that giant! You gett to pick your reel seat and your colors. We can help you design your rod with our expert advise or we will build it exactly to your specifications. You can't get that with a store bought rod. This bass was caught using one of our custom rods with a traditional cork handle. the angler that landed this fish likes the look and feel of the cork. With a custom rod you get to have everything on the rod just the way you want it, with a rod blank of your choice that is just right for the type of bait you are casting. In this case a fairly good sized swim bate was used. We will make your new rod for whatever bait size and weight your using.

This is Robert with one of our custom rods built just for him, exactly how he likes. Robert has a knack of catching fish where most fisherman fail. Perhaps that because he is not scared of the dark? Here Robert is showing off one of his catches where even the pros have a difficult time landing fish. Rober used a pretty good sized swim bait to catch this good looking elusive bass. Thats a pretty good looking rod too!

Here we have a bass that was caught using a bluegill swim bait and one of our custom rods with a split cork handle. We like to balance our rods to help reduce fatigue. you will be able to cast all day and well into the night with our custom rods. This pic was taken at night, see what I mean!

This is a fine specimen of a Large Mouth Bass. It was caught on one of our large swim bate rods. Westley our lead rod builder is quite the fisherman. He loves fishing and knows what it takes to build a great fishing rod. He loves to Bass fish but he is equally motivated to build fly rods, spinning rods to salt water rods. He loves all type of fishin and desires to build you the best rod for whatever fishing you choose to do.
